FAQ
When and where is the 2026 Prayer Breakfast?
It will be held on March 30, 2026, at Freedom Hall in Johnson City, TN.
How much does it cost to produce the JCPB?
The full cost to produce the event for 2026 and about 350 attendees would be $11,500. This includes venue rental, audio/visual, breakfast, coffee, linens, plates/cups/silverware, keynote speaking and travel fees, website and ticketing fees, credit card processing fees, and Summit Leadership Management fees.
Does the committee make a profit off of the event?
No. The JCPB Committee is entirely volunteer, and we do not receive any payment for being on the committee nor receive anything if there are funds left over. All goes toward the next year's breakfast.
What do you do with the event proceeds?
Any amount that is left over after the event, we retain in our Summit Leadership funding account to pay for monthly website expenses. If there is more than needed for monthly expenses, we hold in the account and use for the next year's event.
What do you need donations for?
At 2026 expense rates, the cost per ticket would be about $30 to breakeven. Our goal is to make a ticket affordable to the greater majority of the community, at $12.12. For 350 attendees, this would require that we have $7,300 of our expenses donated in some way in order to breakeven.
What is the JCPB?
The JCPB is an annual gathering where the community comes together to pray for Johnson City and seek unity across churches and organizations.
